An excellent weekend much enjoyed :)

Just like to say a massive thanks to all NEjaps members and especially Gayle, Graham, Lea and Craig for organising an excellent club stand, great BBQ and the seemingly neverending supply of cake that I just couldn't quite work my way through lol

Oh, and special thanks to Richard for taking a bullet for me ;)

Can't wait till next year!!

I'd like to say thanks to all for coming , there wouldn't be a stand without you !
Mark I think you may have missed a bit of cake too, I found a piece while we were packing up. I did think about finding a container and popping it around to your house :)

Pity about the weather but that's England for you.

Hope you had a good journey home.
We have a bit of trouble with the photos at the moment but if anybody has any we would love to see them here ( even if they are just silhouettes ) hehe

As a JAE virgin it was the best way to lose my innocence

Don't worry madfish I will remember my dining experience with fondness, particularly as I can still taste some of it now :20: though I should of suspected something was amiss when you made that dodgy bacon butty on the Friday morning

All I will say it was bloody brilliant and everyone made me feel totally welcome I can now come away with many great memories

I also learnt the following 5 key rules
1- don't lock your keys in the car at a car festival, expertly demo'd by Leanne
2- if you are asked to do the bungee run be sure you make it stick
3- if madfish asks you to a sushi dinner, decline it nicely but very firmly
4- Gayle is the boss :56:
5- if you forget rule 4 then = :46:

But the best thing about this weekend was the new friends I made and I can't wait until next year

Cheers to everyone :26:
R

PS - need to change our convoy leader as he got confused a bit and went round tescos car pack twice when we were leaving !?!

Glad you enjoyed yourself....was really nice to see you again and roll on next year.......see you soon.......funnily Nov 5th lmao.

Oh and what i did with the keys and my boot.....it was a demo like the fireman 1 this morning....and it worked....no-one will do it now haha.

Lol he forgets to take his tablets sometimes

I'm really glad you enjoyed the experience Richard, oh I forgot to say Madfish was also a JAE virgin ( why do you think you both offered to do the eating competition ? :) )
Bobby knew better.

did i hear my name mentioned ?? lol

outstanding company, great banter and well organised as always.
well done Gayle, Graham, Mummy and Craig, you are very much appreciated :26:

put us down for next year :32:

i think we need to have a brain storming session before the next one re:- contributions, you guys seem to spend a lot of money that could easily be rectified with a couple of quid a day from each attendee. just a thought.

many thanks guys

and well done :35:

Me and Linda would also like to say thanks for putting on a good event, we really enjoyed it even though we only did 2 out of the 4 days. But that was kind of my fault for getting the date mixed up in the first place lol I thought the club was really well organised and people put in a lot of effort to make the things run smoothly so thanks for that. Also thanks for our goodies bag, it is not rubbish btw lol i gave the wine to linda and she can have the toolkit too as she never seem to have any. Just got my key ring led working too, it looks a good replacement for my old plastic one :)

Me and ben both had an awesome weekend, even better than last year! Big thanks to gayle graeme lee and craig for all your hard work putting everything together, for the goody bags and for forking out for just about everything! Thanks to si for his excellent cooking as always! Thanks to everyone who transported all the gear down, and thanks to everyone who attended for making it a top weekend and a great laugh! As has been said we definitely need to sort out a whiparound beforehand to make contributions for everything!
